Busy shopping...

Hubby has a few days off so we went shopping at one of his favourite places ... Stamford Market on a Friday.
As I know there are some great fabric places and charity shops here I even offered to drive. (tip: don;t automatically follow the car in front when entering a car park cos if they go wrong so do you!)
So did I manage to find anything to buy??

First buy is a book that I have been using at the library for years (Family History reasons) it was few more pennies than wanted to pay but being for a charity which has helped me in the past and it is great condititon parted with the money:
...next photo shows a combined buy from the "Fabric Lady" market stall (her official family name) and Cally & Co. Love how the bundles are packaged with string and luggage labels. The selection of yumminess speaks for itself...
...2 pairs of scissors may seem greedy but 1 pair isn't for me. Honest, the pink ones are a gift for a friend.
This wasn't brought today but as it's so nice decided to share it anyway, another great charity shop find. This one is a gorgeous reversible dress. Can't wait to make it into journals:

Thanks for looking, have you found any great bargains or just brought some yumminess you want to share??

Ooh Stamford, I love it there, although haven't been for ages. Sounds like you had a very productive day - such fab buys. xx

MMmmmmm they are really nice yummies...
Scissors are a fantatic find, haven't seen anything like those around here and the fabric looks so bright and colourful. I esp like one in the bottom picture.
So glad you enjoyed your shopping trip.

Hi! Thanks for popping over to my blog and following me - 1 step closer to that giveaway so need to get making!
Those scissors are lovely. I have an apron in the scotty dog fabric, but would love to know who it is by so I could buy some amd make a few extras for the kitchen (I bought the apron).
Love your blog too and off to visit your folksy shop now.
