Beautiful bride ....

Yesterday was a close friends wedding...
...at the gorgeous Wadenhoe House, nr Peterborough.
She was a beautiful bride...
...it was a lovely day and I felt very privileged to be part of it.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Hoyes
--------------------------------
The gift:
Helen is a big fan of handmade,
As soon as these pillowcases appeared in my Facebook newsfeed I knew "the" gift had been found:
...they are lovely and the photo does not do them justice. They point exactly where the persons head would be.

I wanted to present them in a wedding-ey way (I know thats's a nonsense word but gets my point across).
Instead of paper I wrapped gift in plain white cotton, then some pretty white lace...tied with string...cut a red paper heart stamped with names...added this to the present by using a clip on pretty white bird.
A close up:
I leave you with (the badly photographed) wedding favours...

Thank you for looking.

Love the card and the pillowcases are just brilliant! I wouldn't want to open that present as it looks so gorgeous as it is!

What a lovely gift and so beautifully wrapped. Would never have thought of using material as a way to wrap a present, but it looks so special. Glad you had a good day. Wadenhoe isn't too far from me.

I've tagged you in a festive tune blog post (if you'd like to take part that is!)
